On 3 September 2025, Sabah Mineral Management Sdn. Bhd. (SMM) technical team conducted a site visit to a manganese exploration project at Bukit Tugudan, Tandek, in Kota Marudu. The visit focused on reviewing ongoing exploration activities, including recent drilling programmes and geophysical surveys. During the inspection, the team examined geological features and provided guidance on reporting to ensure alignment with international standards. This initiative reflects SMM’s commitment to ensuring mineral resources are developed professionally and responsibly for the development of Sabah.
