Sabah Mineral Management Sdn. Bhd. (SMM) participated in the Malaysia In-Country Workshop on the Investment-Ready Minerals Project (IRMP) Promotion Package, held on 13–14 October 2026 at The Westin Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Bintang.
The workshop provided a valuable platform to exchange knowledge and insights with representatives from the World Bank, relevant government institutions and international experts, including Professor Ian Satchwell, Adjunct Professor at The University of Queensland with over 40 years of experience in mineral policy and industry development. The workshop also provided an opportunity to learn from international best practices, lesson learned and explore opportunities to enhance Malaysia’s attractiveness as a destination for responsible mineral investment.
SMM is honoured to be part of this journey towards unlocking Sabah’s mineral potential, attracting responsible investment opportunities, and creating lasting value for the prosperity of Sabah and Malaysia.
