On 3 September 2025, Sabah Mineral Management Sdn. Bhd. (SMM) technical team conducted a site visit to a manganese prospecting area in Kota Marudu. The visit was organised to evaluate the progress of ongoing exploration and ensure strict adherence to technical and safety standards. Despite challenging terrain, the team successfully validated exploration data and inspected key drilling sites alongside independent consultants. This initiative reflects SMM’s commitment to the responsible and professional development of Sabah’s mineral resources.
